A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Before you join.
Does my audio leave my laptop?
No. Speech-to-text runs locally. Transcript text is sent to the corporate cleanup service when AI polish is used; local audio and cloud text processing are separate parts of the workflow.
What happens offline or at the weekly limit?
The local transcript is pasted at your cursor when the cleanup service cannot be reached or AI cleanup is capped. The soft warning is 40,000 words per week; the hard limit for cleanup is 50,000 words per week.
Do employees need their own API keys?
No. Employees use their corporate Microsoft 365 account. IT manages access and the model behind the shared cleanup endpoint.
Can I install SecureWhisper today?
SecureWhisper is pre-launch. Join the waitlist for availability updates. Public download links and a release date have not been announced.
